The Day I Almost Gave Up on Eji Tech: A Journey of Faith and Resilience
Sometimes, the hardest part of building a business isn't starting. It's continuing when you don't see the results you hoped for.
There was a season when I almost gave up on Eji Tech Life Services.
Business was slow. Frustration was growing. And, like many entrepreneurs experience at some point, self-doubt began to creep in.
I questioned the journey.
I questioned the vision.
Most importantly, I questioned whether I should continue.
But sometimes, the moments that make us want to quit are the very moments that remind us why we started.
Remembering the Why
Eji Tech Life Services was never meant to be just another digital services company.
The vision was—and still is—to help Nigerian businesses leverage technology to attract customers, manage leads more effectively, improve their digital presence, and grow sustainably.
We wanted to contribute to a more technology-driven Nigerian business environment while building something grounded in faith, service and resilience.
But having a vision doesn't mean the journey will always be easy.
There will be slow seasons.
There will be unanswered questions.
There will be moments when the numbers don't seem to reflect the effort you're putting in.
And that's exactly where I found myself.
One Client Changed My Perspective
During one of those difficult moments, I reached out to one of Eji Tech's earliest clients.
It was a small retail business struggling to adapt to the digital world.
They needed help reaching more customers and building a stronger digital marketing strategy.
We developed a tailored digital marketing solution designed around their specific needs.
Then something remarkable happened.
Within six months, their customer base increased by 300%.
That wasn't just a business result.
It was a reminder.
A reminder that the work we were doing mattered.
A reminder that behind every strategy, campaign, lead system or digital solution is a real business owner trying to build something meaningful.
And most importantly, it reminded me why Eji Tech existed in the first place.
Eji Tech Became More Than a Business
That client's success rekindled something in me.
I realized that Eji Tech wasn't simply about making money or building a company.
It was about creating solutions that could make businesses better.
It was about helping entrepreneurs move from uncertainty to clarity.
It was about using technology to solve real business problems.
And it was about staying committed to the mission even when the journey became difficult.
That realization gave me the strength to keep going.
What Entrepreneurship Has Taught Me
Entrepreneurship has taught me that success isn't always about how quickly you grow.
Sometimes, success is simply refusing to quit.
There are seasons when you are planting and seasons when you are harvesting.
There are seasons when everything seems to be working and seasons when you have to go back to the drawing board.
The important thing is not to allow one difficult season to convince you that the entire journey is a failure.
If you're currently building a business and things aren't going the way you expected, take a moment to remember your WHY.
Why did you start?
Who were you trying to help?
What problem were you trying to solve?
What impact did you hope to make?
Sometimes, your WHY becomes the light that helps you navigate the darkest part of the journey.
Keep Going
If you're in a season where hope feels distant, don't give up too quickly.
Your business may need a new strategy.
Your systems may need improvement.
Your marketing may need to change.
Your lead-generation process may need an audit.
But a difficult season doesn't automatically mean your vision is wrong.
Sometimes, you simply need to find a better path forward.
At Eji Tech Life Services, we're committed to helping Nigerian businesses use technology more effectively to attract, manage and convert leads.
If you believe your business is losing potential customers because of gaps in your lead system, let us help you identify where the problem is.

Your current season may be difficult.
But keep building.
Keep learning.
Keep serving.
Keep believing.
The story isn't over yet.
