2. Data We Collect Through WhatsApp
When you message us or interact with our WhatsApp Business number, we may collect:
- Contact Information: Your WhatsApp phone number and display name.
- Message Content: The content of messages you send us, including inquiries, attachments, and responses to automated follow-ups.
- Interaction Metadata: Timestamps of messages, delivery/read status, and which automated workflows you've interacted with.
- Business Data: Any information you voluntarily provide during the conversation, such as project details or scheduling preferences.
3. How to Request Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by:
- Sending a message to our WhatsApp Business number with the words “DELETE MY DATA”, or
- Emailing info@ejitechlife.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”, including the phone number or contact details associated with your data.
We will confirm receipt of your request within 3 business days.
4. What Happens When You Request Deletion
Upon a verified deletion request, we will:
- Delete your contact information, message history, and any associated records from our active systems (including CRM, automation workflows, and WhatsApp integration data) within 30 days.
- Remove you from any marketing or follow-up automation sequences.
- Notify any third-party processors acting on our behalf (e.g., automation or hosting providers) to delete their copies of your data, where applicable.
5. Data We May Be Required to Retain
We may retain limited data where required by law or legitimate business need, such as:
- Financial or transaction records required for tax and accounting compliance.
- Records necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Aggregated or anonymised data that no longer identifies you.
Any such retained data will not be used for further marketing or communication purposes.
6. Timeframe
We aim to complete all verified deletion requests within 30 days of confirmation. If a request requires longer due to technical or legal complexity, we will notify you of the expected timeline.
